- Getting Started
- Wayfinder shrines can be found scattered throughout Villages.
- To summon a Wayfinder, offer a few Emeralds at the shrine.
- Each player can have their own personal Wayfinder.
- When they aren’t guiding you to new biomes, they act like a normal “pet”.
- How to Use
- Searching — Right-click your Wayfinder to open their GUI. Pick a biome from the list (for your current dimension) and click Search.
- Radius Limit — If the biome isn’t found within a 10,000 block radius, the Wayfinder will refuse and you’ll need to choose a different biome.
- The Journey — Once a biome is found, the Wayfinder will start traveling toward it. If they get too far away, they’ll teleport back to you.
- Canceling & Cooldowns — Right-click your Wayfinder and hit Cancel to stop a trip. There’s a short cooldown between searches.
- Protecting Your Wayfinder
- Danger — Wayfinders are targeted by projectile mobs (Skeletons, Pillagers, Witches, etc.).
- Panic State — If a threat is nearby, the Wayfinder panics and stops moving until you kill the mob.
- Shield Defense — When damaged, the Wayfinder instantly raises a shield that blocks the next 2 hits. After that, they can die.
- Healing — Feed your Wayfinder Glowberries to restore health.
- Resummoning Your Wayfinder
- If your Wayfinder dies, you can resummon them at a shrine — but the cost doubles from the previous amount.
- Cost scaling: 1 → 2 → 4 → 6 → 12 → 24 → … up to a maximum of 64 Emeralds.
